CBSE Full Form: Central Board of Secondary Education
CBSE full form is Central Board of Secondary Education. It’s an education board within which many public and private schools come from and is operated by the CBSE government.
All Kendriya Vidyalaya affiliated with CBSE, 20999 schools in India come under CBSE. There are 220 CBSE affiliate schools in 28 countries.
CBSE has the advantage that NCERT Books are taught in it, in which children have many benefits.
Two languages are used in CBSE, one is English and the other is Hindi. Students can choose any one of these languages and give their exams in it.
CBSE examination and its process
Every year, CBSE conducts a test called the National Eligibility Test (NET) to get teachers for school and universities
For class X students, CBSE conducts exams called AISSE(All India Secondary School Examination), and for class 12 students conduct exams called AISSCE(All India Senior School Certificate Examination).
Types of exam Conduct by CBSE
All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) is an exam CBSE conducts every year for engineering students.
CBSE also conducts examinations for class 10th and 12th i.e AISSE and AISSCE simultaneously.
It also organizes and National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is for medical students. CBSE conducts Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) exam to appoint a teacher in the school. The NET exam also conducts to appoint teachers in college and school.
Who can attend these exams?
Schools of CBSE recognized students of the same school can appear for 10th and 12th class exams.
The students who have completed their master’s degree, with 55% of marks can attend the NET exam to be conducted by CBSE.
The CBSE established on 3 November 1962. But before that, in 1921, the Government of India established a joint board Board of School and Intermediate Education.
This board was made up of the Uttar Pradesh Board of High School Intermediate Education which was earlier operated by Rajputana and Central India government, Gwalior. After that 1963 it’s announced as CBSE.
CBSE wants students to get a stress-free, comprehensive, and proper education. It not only pays attention to the students, but it also has some activities to enhance the abilities of the teachers.
In short, CBSE wants both teachers and students to develop their knowledge.

- The syllabus of CBSE is very less as compared to other Indian boards so that it is very easy to read and easy to remember for students.
- CBSE is a great school for children whose parents do jobs and transfer them always from one city to another. The CBSE board has many branches as compared to other boards and it is very easy to change the school.
- English language knowledge taught more in CBSE in which students become more proficient in English.
- CBSE Chief takes care that its students are provided with education and proper training
- Along with studying CBSE also takes care of other Curricular Activity and Sports.
Branches of CBSE
The main branch of CBSE is in Delhi. The other branch of CBSE is many places of India i.e Chennai, Guwahati, Ajmer, Allahabad, Bhubaneswar, Patna, Dehradun Thiruvananthapuram, etc.
